A quick note on my philosophy of how I purchase a house in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. I like buying houses that I know with a little elbow grease will become houses that others will want to buy. I love staying in the entry-level tier so that there are always home buyers looking for homes that I am offering. I am looking for homes that accommodate buyers- for example, I cringe a little bit when sellers tell me their home has (gulp) 8 bedrooms. Sure, great space for a family of 10 but that’s just not the common size family these days. Sure, I’ll check out any home but when it comes down to it, I enjoy working on homes that are going to appeal to the majority of buyers out there. Another big factor I take into consideration is what other houses on the market look like and offer buyers and make my buying and remodeling decisions based on what I know will make our home stand out from the rest. Bottom line is that each home has its unique qualities but when it comes to buying and selling homes in Minneapolis and St. Paul and suburbs there are specific things I look for and my team looks for as we acquire and work on homes.
